Guy’s Grocery Games: “Dashing Thru the Aisles”
Melissa is back as a reoccurring judge on Food Network’s hit primetime competition show, “Guy’s Grocery Games.”
About the show: Four talented chefs compete in supermarket-themed cooking challenges as they must navigate their way through the aisles, adhering to “real-world” obstacles doled out by host Guy Fieri. Whether it is shopping on a budget, substituting out-of-stock ingredients or grabbing groceries at closing time, the contenders have to shop, prepare, and plate three different dishes using whatever they can pull off the shelves. Ultimately, the food does the talking, as one-by-one the losing chefs “check out,” with the last chef standing going on a shopping spree of a lifetime worth up to $20,000!
In this special holiday-themed episode: For the first game, the chefs are given tasty samples from Santa’s little helpers to make their favorite holiday meal in Keep it Sample. Next, the chefs create decadent holiday desserts in Watch Your Weight. The spirit of the season is in full swing as the final two chefs make an elegant New Year’s dinner in No Carts Allowed.
