Guy’s Grocery Games: “First You Don’t Succeed, Fry, Fry Again”

Melissa is back as a reoccurring judge on season two of Food Network’s hit primetime competition show, “Guy’s Grocery Games.”
About the show: Four talented chefs compete in supermarket-themed cooking challenges as they must navigate their way through the aisles, adhering to “real-world” obstacles doled out by host Guy Fieri. Whether it is shopping on a budget, substituting out-of-stock ingredients or grabbing groceries at closing time, the contenders have to shop, prepare, and plate three different dishes using whatever they can pull off the shelves. Ultimately, the food does the talking, as one-by-one the losing chefs “check out,” with the last chef standing going on a shopping spree of a lifetime worth up to $20,000!
In this episode: In ‘Watch Your Weight’, the chefs hope the fried feast does not add too many pounds to the scale. Next, the chefs must make a skewered meal out of the haphazard items in the Clearance Carts. The last two chefs spin the Food Wheel to determine their budget for an elegant dinner.
