Guy’s Grocery Games: “Triple D Takes on Triple G…Again!”
Melissa is back as a reoccurring judge on Food Network’s hit primetime competition show, “Guy’s Grocery Games.”
About the show: Four talented chefs compete in supermarket-themed cooking challenges as they must navigate their way through the aisles, adhering to “real-world” obstacles doled out by host Guy Fieri. Whether it is shopping on a budget, substituting out-of-stock ingredients or grabbing groceries at closing time, the contenders have to shop, prepare, and plate three different dishes using whatever they can pull off the shelves. Ultimately, the food does the talking, as one-by-one the losing chefs “check out,” with the last chef standing going on a shopping spree of a lifetime worth up to $20,000!
In this episode: Creating the ultimate diner dish should be easy for Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives chefs, but a strict weight limit on ingredients makes this challenge heavy-duty. Then, who has time to figure out Guy’s favorite dish when you only get a few minutes to shop? The final two must make a stuffed entree with ingredients from every aisle. The winner takes a road trip around the market worth up to $20,000.
